Twenty years making content for businesses, twelve of them running my own studio, and now I'm building Speedskull, a brand and products company. So far that's mostly tools that help me be more creative, more intentional and more experimental.

Zen Motorcycles

Client work

Zen Motorcycles in Sydney have me doing all their marketing, content and websites, and getting the word out on everything they run, from Bikes & Beans to the demo ride days. Handy, since I ride.

Every week

I post a Speeding Fine. A short note on the week, what I made, what I broke, what I learned... and a reminder, to me and anyone reading, that you can be speeding and still be fine.

V EnergySocial content for V, across all their platforms.

Three years as a creative director at Omnicom, first at Drum in Auckland, then OMG Content in Sydney, making content for V Energy, ANZ, Bunnings, McCain, Virgin Australia, NSW Government and plenty more. Big brands, big teams, and a lot learned about making content at that scale.

Monster Valley

Auckland, 2011 - 2023

Twelve years on Aucklands infamous Karangahape Road. Creative agency, art gallery, photography and podcast studio, gift shop, live venue, community space. We changed the label about as often as we repainted the walls, and none of it mattered as much as who turned up. Clients like Air New Zealand, Budweiser and Woolies came for that connection as much as the work. The Experiment Festival, Black Lagoon Zine, Super 8x8, Monster Valley Records and Poynton Art Studios all started there.

The ExperimentA yearly festival where every act tried something they had never done before.
Air New ZealandPhotos and films for Air New Zealand's sponsorship team.

Film

2008 - 2012

DregsNew Zealand's first feature documentary on street art.

After my film degree, I worked on local commercials, two seasons of Spartacus and two years on the feature films Yogi Bear and The Emperor. In between I shot and directed Dregs. We were the first with connections and camera access into the scene, so it became New Zealand's first feature-length doco on street art.
